IDLI SAMBAR

Ingredients:
  1. onion-1/2cup
  2. tomato-1/2
  3. bengal gram/pottukadalai-1/4cup 
  4. red-chilli-3 or 4
  5. coconut-1/4cup
  6. cinnamon-1/3stick
  7. cloves-2
  8. ginger-few
  9. aniseeds-1/4tsp
  10. mustard seeds
  11. salt-to taste
  12. oil-for frying
  13. turmeic powder-1/2tsp
  14. water
  15. curry leaves


To Grind:
  • take a blender,drop coconut,begal gram,red-chilli,tomato,cinnamon,cloves,aniseeds,ginger and water.
Method:
  • take a kadai,add 3tsp of oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves ad onion.
  • onion comes in golden brown add grind paste,21/2 cups of water and mix well.
  • after add turmeric powder and salt.
  • boil 15 or 16mins.
Serving:
  • idli
  • dosa
