Black chick peas is a healthy and delicious snacks.I have tried a different snack to serve the Events.I added a full of healthy flavour ingredients.Black chick peas is one of the protein items.Coriander seeds are give a lot of smells and taste give to the recipe.U can try this recipe with manchurian,chat items,Gravy/kulambu.This is the healthy snack for kids.Kids are really loved this recipe.I am sending this recipe to lot of events.Serve this snacks with gravy.
Ingredients:- Black Chick Peas/Karrupu Sundal-2 3/4cup
- Garlic-4cloves
- Coriander Seeds-1/4tsp
- Green Chili-6 or 7
- Large Onion-1
- All purpose flour-1 1/2tsp
- Pepper Powder
- Cumin Powder-1/2tsp
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt-to taste
- Oil-for frying
To Marinate:
- Soak and wash the black chick peas for miimum 6hrs.
- Filter and remove the chick peas from water.
- Take a blender,put the black chick peas blend in a corse.
- Place a black chick peas corse in a bowl.
- Take a blender,put the garlic,coriander seeds,Small amount of chick peas corse,Green chili and grind in a smooth paste.
Method:
- Place a black chick peas corse in a bowl,add grind paste,all purpose flour,cumin powder,finely chopped onion, coriander leaves,salt,pepper powder and mix well.
- Divide the dough into 10 or 15 balls.
- Keep it in refrigerator for 3hrs.
- After 3hrs remove the balls in refrigerator.
- Heat oil and deep fry till it is greenish or black color.
- Hot and serve with "Tomato Ketchup,Tomato Chili Sauce,Manchurian Sauce,Chat items,Gravy/Kulambu,Tea Time".
- Hope and enjoy ur loved ones.
