CHICKEN GRAVY

Ingredients:
  1. chicken-1/2kg
  2. cinnamon-1/4stick
  3. cloves-7
  4. aniseeds (soambu)-1/4tsp
  5. cardamom-1
  6. ginger-half
  7. garlic-4cloves
  8. onion-1/4cup
  9. pepper powder-1/4tsp
  10. red-chili powder-3tsp
  11. coriander powder-3tsp
  12. turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  13. tomato-1/2
  14. curry leaves
  15. sesame oil
  16. salt
  17. coconut-3lices


To Grind:
  • take a blender ,drop on the cinnamon,cloves,aniseeds and cardamom. 
  • all the mixtures grind separately. 
  • to grind ginger and garlic in smooth paste.
  • to grind onions.
  • after finally grind the coconut.
Method:
  • take a non-stick pan,pan comes in heat add 8tsp of sesame oil.
  • oil comes in heat add all the grind powders and paste separately.
  • fry 2mins.add finely chopped tomatoes.after 2mins oils comes out in paste.
  • after add the chicken and add all the powders and salt.mixing all the powders and chicken.
  • do not use water in that time.add 1tsp of oil in top of the chicken .wait for 5mins.
  • after 5mins add 1cup of water only.and add some curry leaves on top of the chicken .do not use two much water.boil 15 mins.
  • after 15 mins add coconut paste.mixing the chicken and coconut paste.boil 10 mins.
Serving:
  • boiled rice
  • curd rice
  • rasam
  • chappati
  • parotta
