TOMATO KULAMBU

Ingredients:
  1. large tomato-1
  2. large onion-half
  3. coconut-3slices
  4. cinnamon-1/4 stick
  5. cloves-4cloves
  6. aniseeds/soambu -1/4tsp
  7. turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  8. red-chili powder-1tsp
  9. coriander powder-21/2tsp
  10. curry leaves
  11. coriander leaves
  12. ginger-1slice
  13. salt-to taste
  14. water
  15. oil
  16. mustard seeds



Frying:
heat little oil and onion. and add finely chopped tomatoes.fry 2mins.

To Grind:
take a blender, drop the cinnamon,cloves,aniseeds,coconut,ginger,onion,tomatoes and add all the powders.do not use too much water.


Method:
heat little oil,add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
after add blender paste and water


finally add some curry leaves and coriander leaves.boil 15 mins.


Serving:
  • boiled rice
  • curd rice
