- Soy chunks-1/2cup
- Boiled Rice-1 1/2cup
- Shred cabbage-1/3cup
- Shred carrot-1/4cup
- Green peas-1/4cup
- Tomato-4tsp
- Large onion-1/2cup
- Green-chili-2
- Coriander powder-2 1/2tsp
- Red-chili powder-1 1/2tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
- Gram masala-1/4tsp
- Cinnamon-1/4stick
- Cloves-4
- Bay leaf-2
- Ginger-garlic paste-1tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Salt-to taste
- Oil/Butter-3slices
- Cashew-nuts-10
Method:
- Soy chunks is cooked in a large pot of boiling water.After switch off the flame,wait for 7mins.
- Press the soy chunks squeeze and filter the water.
- Take a kadai,add 3 or 4 pieces of butter.Butter melts in stage add cinnamon,cloves,bay leaf, finely chopped onion,ginger-garlic paste, green chili and cashew-nuts.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes,green peas and add all vegetables and mix well.Fry 8mins.
- After add soy chunks and add all powders,gram masala,salt ,coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add boiled rice and mix well.Wait for 5 or 6mins.Finally add some coriander leaves.
- Hot and serve with "thayir pachadi".
