Ingredients:
- Basmathi Rice-1cup
- Cauliflower-2cups
- Shred Cabbage-1/2cup
- Shred Carrot-1/2cup
- Green peas-1/4cup
- Potato-1/4cup
- Large onion-1
- Tomato-1/2
- Cinnamon-1/4stick
- Cloves-3
- Cardamom-1
- Bay leaf-1
- Curd-1tsp
- Lemon juice-2drop
- Cocout milk-1/2cup
- Red-chili paste-1 1/4tsp
- Mint leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Ginger-Garlic paste-1 1/2tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Oil/Butter-2slices
- Water-1 1/4cup
To Marinate:
- All purpose flour-2tsp
- Rice flour-2 1/2tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Water-1/4cup
- Cauliflower cut into small pieces.
- Place a cauliflower in a bowl,add all powders,salt,water and mix well.Paste fully covered in cauliflower.do not add too much water.
- Heat oil and deep fry till it is yellow brown.
- Take the cauliflower from oil and place it to the tissue paper.
- Wash and soak the basmathi rice for minimum 1hour.
- Heat the pressure cooker,add 2slices of butter and oil
- Add cinnamon,cloves,cardamom,bay leaf,mit leaves,coriander leaves and fry well.
- Add sliced onion,tomatoes,ginger -garlic paste and fry well.
- After raw smell goes out add all vegetables,turmeric powder,salt,red-chili paste,lemon juice,curd and mix well.(except:cauliflower)
- Fry 3mins.After 3mins add soaked rice and mix well.
- Add coconut milk,water,mint leaves coriander leaves mix well and cover the lid.
- After 3 or 4 whistles switch off the flame and rest for 20mins.
- After 20mins remove the lid and mix all the rice and vegetables.
- Finally add fried cauliflower and mix well.
- Hot and serve with " Curd Bachadi or Raita".
