  1. boiled rice-4cups
  2. large tomato-2
  3. large onion-half
  4. ginger-1/4tsp
  5. garlic-2cloves
  6. cinnamon-1/4stick
  7. cloves-4
  8. poppy seeds/khas khas-1/4tsp
  9. aniseeds/soambu-1/4tsp
  10. mint leaves-3
  11. coriander leaves
  12. coriander powder-11/2tsp 
  13. red-chili powder-1/4tsp
  14. turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  15. green-chili-3
  16. gram masala-1/4tsp
  17. salt-to taste
  18. oil-for frying


  • heat oil in kadai,add poppy seeds,cinnamon,cloves,ani seeds,ginger,garlic, and green chili.
  • ginger and garlic cut into small pieces.
  • when it start popping,add onion and mint leaves.
  • onion comes in golden brown add finely chopped tomatoes.
  • after add all the powders ,gram masala,coriander leaves and not add water.
  • all the powders and tomatoes mix well.finally mash the tomatoes.
  • fry 10 mins.after 10mins switch off the flame add some coriander leaves on top of the tomatoes.
  • finally mix the boiled rice.

  • This is a quick lunch box items.
