The same batter to prepare the 2 varieties of sweet urad dal and Medhu vadai (balls).Sweet urad dal balls add only sugar.Medhu vadai add onion,pepper corns,cumin seeds,ginger.Sweet urad balls is a healthy and tasty.Quick,easy,simple and super tasty!!! Every south indian to prepared during festivals and weedings.Kids are really loved this sweet balls.
Ingredients:
- Urad Dal-1cup
- Raw Rice/Idli Rice-50g
- Sugar-to taste
- Water
- Oil-for frying
- Soak and wash the urad dal and raw rice for miimum 6hrs.
- In a blender,drop the urad dal,raw rice,water and blend in a smooth and thick paste.
- Place a batter in a bowl,add sugar and mix well.
- Heat oil and deep fry in medium heat.Sweet urad dal balls turns in golden brown remove from oil.
- Hot and serve with "Banana and Sugar".
