CAULIFLOWER KULAMBU

Ingredients:
  1. Cauliflower-1bowl
  2. Onion-1/2cup
  3. Tomato-1/2
  4. Shred Coconut-1/3cup
  5. Cinnamon-1/3stick
  6. Cloves-2
  7. Aniseeds-1/4tsp
  8. Ginger-few
  9. Mustard seeds-1/2tsp
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Curry powder-1 1/3tsp
  12. Coriander powder-1/2tsp
  13. Salt-to taste
  14. Water
  15. Oil-for Frying


To Grind:
  • Take a blender,add shred coconut,cinnamon,cloves,aniseeds,ginger and water.Blend in a fine paste.
Method:
  • Cut the cauliflower into small or large pieces.
  • Take a large pot,add water,salt,turmeric powder and cauliflower.Boil 15mins.
  • After 15mins filter the water and remove the cauliflower.
  • Take another pan,add oil,mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Add finely chopped onions and tomatoes.
  • Add halfly boiled cauliflower,all powders,add pinch of salt and water.
  • After 10mins add grind paste and mix well.Boil 13mins.

  • Hot and serve with "Idli,Dosa,Chappati and Boiled Rice".
