My Mom Special~Chicken Gravy

Chicken Gravy is a perfect side dish of Idli,Dosa,Curd Rice,Boiled Rice,Appam,Rasam Rice,Chapatti and Nan etc.This dish can be preapared quickly and easy method.My husband really loved to eat the chciken gravy with Idli and Dosa.All family members are really loved this gravy.I am very happy to share my mom special~chicken gravy. 


Ingredients:
  1. Chicken-1/2kg(with or without bone)
  2. Masala Paste/Non-Veg Masala Paste-1cup
  3. Large Onion-1/2(sliced)
  4. Tomato-1
  5. Green Chili-2(optional)
  6. Red-chili Powder-2 1/2tsp(as per taste)
  7. Coriander Powder-3 1/2tsp
  8. Turmeric Powder-1/2tsp
  9. Curry Masala Powder-1/2tsp
  10. Salt-to taste
  11. Water
  12. Oil-1/3cup



Method:
  • Wash the chicken and cut into small pieces.
  • Chopped the onions,tomatoes and Green-chili.
  • Have the non-veg masala paste ready at hand.

  • Heat a non-stick pan with oil,add onion,green-chili and tomatoes.Saute well till onion turns color.


  • Add non-veg masala paste and combine everything well.Fry for 6mins.

  • Then add chicken,red-chili powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,curry masala powder,salt and mix well.

  • Add some amount of water,chopped coriander leaves and mix well.Boil 30mins.

  • After 30mins water to be evaporated and a thick gravy to coat the chicken pieces.



Hot and serve ur loved ones and enjoy ur chicken gravy :)

  3. I love chicken and beef "gravy" meals served over white rice and found this recipe yesterday (12/9/14). I prepared for my wife and I last night and it was fantastic! She's not the most adventurous with new meal choices but she loved it. We will be adding this to our list of comfort foods. Thank you for posting!
