Cauliflower is low in fat.Cauliflower is also a good source of magesium,iron,calcium and potassium.Cauliflower mixes well with Vegetables,Lentils,Briyani and Meat.Cauliflower and Carrot is a perfect side dish of idli and dosa.This is my first time i tried this type of combination.Carrrot is also a good source of Vitamin A,Vitamin K,Dietary fiber,Vitamin C,Potassium,Magnesium,Vitamin B6,B1,B2,B3 and Vitamin E.Kids are really and enjoy this dish.
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower-1/2cup
- Carrot-1/3cup
- Coriander Powder-2tsp
- Curry Powder-1 1/4tsp
- Shred Coconut-1/3cup
- Cinnamon-1/3stick
- Cloves-2
- Aniseeds-1/4tsp
- Tomato-1/2
For Seasoning:
- Oil-2tsp
- Mustard Seeds
- Curry Leaves
- Onion-1/2cup(chopped)
- Salt-to taste
- Butter-1/2cube
- Coriander Leaves
- Water
Method:
- In a blender,drop all the ingredients,water and blend in a smooth paste (without fry).
- Heat a kadai,add 2tsp of oil,mustard seeds,curry leaves,onion and fry well.
- Add blender paste,water,salt ,Butter,coriander leaves and mix well.
- Boil 30 mins.After raw smell goes out switch off the flame.Add some butter on top of the kurma.
- Hot and serve with "Idli and Dosa".
Note:
- If u want to fry the cauliflower,carrot and masala ingredients.I am not fry any ingredients.
