Ingredients:
Blender:
- boiled chick peas-1cup
- brinjal-1/4cup
- tamarind water-1/4cup
- oil
- red-chili-1
- cumin seeds-1/4tsp
- mustard seeds
- curry leaves
- onion-1/4cup
- tomatoes-1/2
- red-chili powder-2tsp
- coriander powder-3tsp
- turmeric powder-1/4tsp
- coconut slices-2
- cinnamon-1/2
- cloves-4
- ginger-small size
- aniseeds (soambu)-1/4tsp
- sesame oil-1tsp
- salt
- water
Blender:
- take a blender drop the coconut slices,cinnamon,cloves,ginger ,aniseeds and water
- heat the tava add 5tsp of oil,oil comes in heat add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red-chili,curry leaves and onion.
- onion comes in golden brown add finely chopped tomatoes.
- fry 1min after add brinjal, boiled chickpeas,tamarind water and add all the powders and salt.
- boil 10 mins.after 10 mins tamarind water comes in a gravy paste.
- add 2cups of water boil 5mins .after add the blender paste boil 10mins.
- finally add some coriander leaves and curry leaves.add 1tsp of sesame oil drop on the chick peas gravy.
Serving:
- boiled rice
- curd rice
- lemon rice
